Workflow automation for Irish SMEs
We connect the systems you already use, such as stock, orders, accounts and your online store, so information is entered once and moves on its own.
Workflow automation replaces repetitive manual steps, such as re-keying orders, building month-end reports or chasing approvals, with software that does them automatically. For most SMEs that means fewer errors, faster month-ends and hours back every week.
What we automate
- Orders: web and phone orders flow straight into stock and invoicing, with no re-keying.
- Purchasing: purchase orders raised automatically from reorder levels and sales forecasts.
- Stock: live stock levels synced between shops, warehouses and your online store.
- Quotes (RFQ): requests for quote collected, compared and turned into orders.
- Reporting: daily and month-end reports built and emailed without exporting to Excel.
- Approvals: sign-offs for purchases, discounts or credit notes routed to the right person.
Signs you need it
- The same data is typed into two or more systems.
- Month-end takes days of spreadsheet work.
- Stock on the website doesn't match stock on the shelf.
- Only one person knows how a key process works.
How we do it
We map the process as it runs today, find the steps that don't need a person, and automate those. People stay in control of the decisions that need judgement. We build on the systems you already use where we can, and document everything so the business isn't dependent on one person's knowledge.
Why us
Dave Joyce, our founder, has built order, purchasing and stock software since 2006, including Turbo Inventory, which was acquired by Big Red Cloud in 2023. We know where the time goes in a stock-holding business, because we've written the software that runs it.
Frequently asked questions
What business processes can be automated?
The best candidates are repetitive, rule-based tasks that move data between systems. Common examples are order entry from your online store into stock and invoicing, purchase orders raised from reorder levels, stock levels synced across locations and your website, scheduled reports, and approval routing.
Do we need to replace our current software to automate?
Usually not. Most automation connects the systems you already have through their APIs or data exports. We only recommend replacing a system when it cannot be connected reliably or is holding the business back.
Will automation replace our staff?
That isn't the aim. Good automation removes the copying and checking so your team can spend time on customers, suppliers and decisions. People stay in control of anything that needs judgement.
Do you use AI in automation?
Where it adds real value, for example flagging unusual orders or helping forecast demand. We use it only where it saves your team time and the results can be checked.
